Mabel & Laurie

Mabel and Laurie (Laurie is Collin's cousin's daughter- and they live about a mile from us- on the same farm land)  absolutely LOVE each other.  They are exactly a month apart.  They get SO excited when they are together. They kick their feet, reach for each other, and coo like crazy!  They are going to be the best of friends... especially this summer when they can walk, talk (maybe) and play together!

This is Mabel's finished masterpiece!  We had lots of fun making gingerbread houses at the Pleasant View School with all of our friends- thanks Merlene!

Interesting way to fall asleep...

Pretty much face down, butt up!  Doesn't look comfortable to me...  :)  I'm sure you mothers out there have seen your fair share of interesting sleeping baby positions!

Santa Claus

Reebok Tracksuit

I was trying to get a picture of Mabel in her Reebok Tracksuit (which Collin always reminds me is out-of-date/style.  He said, "Didn't REEBOK go out of business?"  I think it's still cute... nerdy or not. :)  So anyway... she wouldn't look up at the camera and smile because she was too busy trying to eat it...

Please Don't Cry Makell... :(

See... Mabel joined the cry fest.  It's so funny how when one baby cries, it causes other babies to cry, almost like they feel so sad for them, it makes them cry.  Cute.

Standing!

Mabel has loved to stand since the day she was born.  It's sometimes even hard to get her to bend her knees! 

For some reason, right after Mabel finishes drinking her milk, she loves to let her tongue hang out.  Almost like she's too tired and satisfied to keep it in...

A Warm December 1st

It's December... and it's 57 degrees and sunny!  Mabel hasn't been outside too much recently since it's been so chilly.  But she LOVED our little walk today!
