Happy Valentine's Day!

Mabel and I were up late last night working on her valentine box and her valentines. This morning I got up to get ready, and it was snowing. So, I went back to bed. I couldn't sleep because I didn't want Mabel to miss her party. So, I got up again and took a shower this time. I got the kids ready and loaded them in the car. I drove to Rd. 14 (about 5 miles) and turned around. I couldn't see a thing! It was scary. But, as I drove back, it stopped snowing, and the sun came out. So, I turned back around. I got all the way to Yellow Jacket (about 15 miles) and turned around AGAIN. The roads were awful. I stopped at the post office, got stuck for about 10 minutes, then headed home. The skies looked scary, and I expected more snow. Well, It's now almost 2pm and it couldn't be more beautiful outside! Clear blue skies! Poor Mabel missed her party... and probably didn't have to :(

Harlan 4 1/2 months

Harlan is sitting up on his own! He sat up for a minute and 30 seconds today. If he reaches for a toy, he falls on his face, but if he is looking at the TV or at Mabel and Cash, he balances so well! When he is on his tummy, he is trying his darndest to move forward. You can tell he just want to GO! He's also been really interested in grown-up food. He reaches for it, and is always trying to stick his face into it. I'm not quite ready to start him on cereal though!

Harlan is growing up soooo fast! He can now roll over from his back to his tummy! He can almost sit on his own now too!

January

New in January: Mabel is LOVING preschool! She already has a best friend. Her classmates are always telling me that Mabel's best friend is Bella Green. She is the cutest little thing! She and Mabel get a long really well. Cash is growing like a weed. He is talking in sentences, and loves to give hugs and kisses. He is very sweet to Mabel and is always watching out for her and taking care of her. Harlan is so much fun! He is growing like a weed as well! He is turning all the way over from tummy to back and is turning over from his back to his side. He sleeps so well at night, which I am very grateful for. He is such a good baby! :)
