Mabel just turned 2 months old on the 21st of June. She is smiling a lot, making cute noises, and holding her head up on her own. She is such a good baby.

Great Grandpa and Mabel
Mabel cried as soon as grandpa asked to hold her... and he said, "don't cry now that I'm holding you." But I assured him that it wasn't him... she was just starving. As soon as he started feeding her, she was happy. She sucked on his thumb for a second, and he laughed and said, "that was one dirty thumb she just sucked on..." Lovely.

Sunday After Church
Mabel wasn't liking this photo shoot since it was extremely windy... We quit trying to get a good shot after about 4 tries. I found a worm in my hair later on that day from standing under the trees. Gross!

A walk without the stroller...
After I put Mabel in the Snuggly, and we headed out the door, she decided to throw up all down the front of it. So much for that walk. The two times I have tried to go for a walk with her in the Snuggly, she has managed to throw up down the front of it. Maybe I'm making it too tight on her tummy...?

Mabel & Her Dad
Mabel is always staring at her dad... and she calms right down when he holds her. It's quite amazing.

Nightly Routine
Every night, we try to stick to a routine so that Mabel will know when it's bed time. Taking a bath is her favorite part of that routine. We don't fill the tub all the way, so her big belly is always sticking out of the water. In order to keep it warm without drowning her, we give her a washcloth blanket... She loves it! (actually she probably doesn't have a clue, but at least it makes me feel better)

First Sunday in Cortez Colorado
Mabel wearing her Sunday Best... We didn't get through all of church without having to make our way to the mother's lounge or atleast stand out in the hallway for a while. Mabel was pretty fussy because of a stomach ache. Poor thing. By the time we got home from church, she had thrown up all down the front of her new dress.
